Is this an overlay widget?
No — and that's the point. Overlays inject a script that floats over your storefront; the failing code underneath stays failing. AccessibilityPatch adds nothing to your storefront. It fixes the theme code itself, through changes you review and approve.
Will it make my store ADA / EAA compliant?
No tool can honestly promise that — automated scanning detects a portion of WCAG criteria, and compliance is a legal judgment, not a checkbox. What we do promise: every detectable issue found, named to its file, fixed at the code level, and documented in date-stamped Evidence Reports that show sustained, good-faith remediation.
Will it slow down my store?
No. There is no script, no widget, no runtime — scans run from our servers against your storefront, and fixes are plain theme code. Your store performs exactly as it did, just more accessible.
Do I need my own AI account?
Only for the AI features (alt-text suggestions, AI code review, AI-drafted fixes). Bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini key — usage bills to your account at cost, typically cents per run. Scanning, attribution, and the deterministic fix generators work without any AI key.
